Karen KA

Karen Ka is a tutor of various courses including singing, dancing, musical and Acappella in schools and non-government organisations. She is the tutor of  the kids programme at Hong Kong Kids Talent Academy; singing coach of Sing Out Musical for secondary schools by HKJC and Hong Kong Repertory Theatre; and the elderly Acappella program organised by HKJC and Yat Po Singers.

Ka has been actively participating in various activities of performing arts, focusing mainly on singing and dancing. She is a member of the music group The Noisy Macaron' and the female Acappella group 'Echogram'. She has been a choir member since secondary school and is experienced in performing as a soloist and in ensemble. She obtained ABRSM Grade 8 piano and vocal.

Being a dancer for 16 years, Ka obtained ATOD (jazz bronze star). With the guidance of Mr. Andy Wong, Ka shares arts with people of different abilities. She enjoys many kinds of dance including contemporary, jazz and hip hop. She graduated from 1-Year Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training Programme by Tang Shu Wing Theatre Studio.

Ka was the singing coach and assistant choreographer of "The Adventures Of Siu2 Fei1" (2016) by Shu Ning Presentation Unit and physical coach and performer of The HKFYG "Kinderszenen - Acappella Theatre" (2016) and recently performed in the following productions: Hong Kong Art Festival "Always By Your Side" (2019 Music Theatre & School Tour), Actors Family “A Tale of The Southern Sky” (2017 Musical Reading), Boom Theatre Musical “Fly Bao To The Moon”, LCSD school tour "Philosophy of Happiness of Ant-men" by DancingAngels (2016) , Ronin Theatre "Sentimental K" (2015 @Hong Kong and Beijing), Boom Theatre "Bloody Love The Musical" (2015) and "Singing In The Rain" (2014).
