Chuen LEE

Chuen is a graduate of Musicians Institute, a contemporary music school located at Hollywood, Los Angeles. He began by learning mainly classical and acoustic guitars in his teenage years. He shifted his focus to electric guitars and received formal music training at the college.

In addition to receiving musical education at school, he also performed different genres of music in live band setting regularly, from Rock-and-Pop to Funk and Soul style to Jazz and Latin music. The journey of studying abroad has tremendously widened his horizon of music, while solidified his guitar skills.

  

Before heading to New York for a short-term teaching visitation, Chuen had a chance to record his first instrumental tune, as the composer, arranger and guitarist in a local studio, and had a great time working with L.A. based studio engineers and musicians.

 

He is a passionate educator for various styles of guitar playing as well as ukulele.
